RESULTS FROM OUR FIRST COMPETITION OF THE SEASON: Our 'OPEN COMPETITION' on 27th November.
Six members entered a total of nine films, which were judged by members on the night.
The top three placings were as follows:

Second: Doug Tweddle with ''Meggie's Burn"
Third: Alwyn Scott with "Rock Cakes"

Third: Jimmy again with "Extra Special Day"

Our judge was Samantha Castro, the Founder and President of Newcastle Film Club.
The top three placings were as follows:

Second: John Burton with "Covid Companion"
Third: Doug Tweddle with "The Selfie Stick"
The film awarded the Kip Halsey Cup for the best 'nature content' (of dolphins) was Jimmy Stringer's "My Perseverance Paid Off"
